• DO NOT EAT FISH IN PENANG! Red tide has been in the Penang strait for about a month now, and getting worse. Fishers do not care, red tide usually creates a bunch of powerful toxins that you probably do not want to eat.
• DO NOT EAT SHRIMP PASTE! It causes cancer. Too bad they use it on every food here. Better to just eat in McDonalds. Rhodamine-B.
• The Makro near the USM has been changed to a Tesco! Now you can buy everything you need in a walking distance from USM, Sunny Ville and the N,E Parks.
• A Malaysian professor and his student invented a bullet resistant vest using coconut fibre. It would be a better invention, if he would use the standard armor classes for the bullet resistant vests. Also a material cannot be said to be cheaper and lighter but less resistant to bullets than Kevlar. You should normalize at least one aspect, like the armor class to make decent comparisons. Also the comparisons should be made with the new technology, not the old Kevlar. Someone has written a minimal correction. I wonder if the guy got the gold prize using false claims..
